The Rt Hon. Lord David Willetts is the Chairman of Verditek plc.

He is also the Executive Chair of the Resolution Foundation. He served as the Member of Parliament for Havant (1992-2015), as Minister for Universities and Science (2010-2014) and previously worked at HM Treasury and the No. 10 Policy Unit.

Lord Willetts is a visiting Professor at King’s College London, Governor of the Ditchley Foundation, Chair of the British Science Association and a member of the Council of the Institute for Fiscal Studies. He is an Honorary Fellow of Nuffield College Oxford.

 

George is the founder of Verditek plc, identifying the three core technologies and leading the company to IPO on AIM.

George has over 30 years’ experience in advisory and asset management as well as investment banking and venture capital particularly  for cleantech companies.

George is a founding partner of Farm Street Partners Investment Management and is a co-founder of the Eight Great Technologies UK venture capital fund launched under ex cabinet Minister for UK Science and Universities, the Right Honourable Lord David Willetts. He was formerly an CEO of Flemings Spain, an MD at JP Morgan before working at Cazenove and ABN Amro in European Equities. He began his career at Hambros Bank before specialising in Spanish equities with Dillon Read for over two decades.

Anthony has over 40 years’ experience in the fund management industry as well as an investor in technology companies.

Anthony has served on the boards of both listed and unlisted companies in technology companies in the UK, the USA,and Australia. He  was a founder and MD of Singapore based, The Global Value Investment Portfolio Management Pte Ltd, managing up to US$1.5 billion as an accredited international equity fund management professional. He previously was Chairman of Enova Systems Inc., a US and UK publicly listed company developing and manufacturing electric and hybrid electric drive systems for automotive and motive power applications. His early career was spent with leading financial institutions including JP Morgan (Chemical Bank) and Citibank.

Geoff is the Chairman of Verditek and in early 2018 became the Interim CEO.

Geoff has served over 30 years in the oil & gas and energy sectors. He was the CTO of FTSE 250 group Petrofac. Prior to Petrofac, he held a number of senior roles in Shell in the Middle East, India, the US, and Europe for 20 years. His most recent assignments with Shell involved the management of commercially focused R&D centres in Europe and India. His proven leadership, commercial and entrepreneurial drive provide business discipline and industry insight to Verditek.    

Geoffrey has a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Durham and has completed extensive executive business training at IMD Lausanne.
